GentleWave

Effectively cleaning the deepest, most complex portions1,2 of the root canal system requires incredible innovation—and we are proud to offer that technology with the GentleWave® Procedure.

The GentleWave Procedure is a state-of-the-art alternative to standard root canal treatment. The ultracleaning technology of the GentleWave Procedure is an advanced combination of fluid dynamics and a broad range of soundwaves that work together to reach into the microscopic spaces1,2 and remove bacteria, debris and tissue.2 The GentleWave Procedure is so effective at cleaning and disinfecting the root canal system, there's less chance of failure over time.3

The GentleWave Procedure uses a minimally invasive1 protocol to access the infected root canal system, which means it is preserving more of the natural tooth and, in doing so, is helping to keep the tooth’s structure strong. With the GentleWave Procedure we can also typically clean and fill the tooth in just one appointment, which may reduce the number of appointments required.

Achieving an exceptional level of clean requires advanced endodontics—and that’s something we take pride in providing. Contact us today to discover the GentleWave Difference for yourself.

3D Imaging

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)

Cone beam computed tomography is an innovative imaging technique that provides endodontists with three-dimensional views of the tooth and root anatomy and their relation to vital anatomic structures. In certain cases, CBCT greatly enhances the endodontist’s ability to diagnose, evaluate, treat and care for patients. As part of our commitment to providing best care, Advanced Care In Endodontics has invested in the state of the art Carestream 9000 3D Cone Beam CT, the market leader in Endodontics.  Utilizing a limited Field-of-View, our 3D CBCT system is able to offer increased spatial resolution, lower and limited radiation dose, and three-dimensional imaging. Used only when appropriate and consistent with scientifically-based guidance and national recommendations, CBCT can be invaluable in the diagnosis and management of traumatic dental injuries; suspected root fractures (“cracked tooth”); complex tooth anatomy including extra canals; nonsurgical and surgical treatment planning; and more.  The increased diagnostic information obtained with CBCT can result in more accurate diagnosis and improved decision planning.

Digital Radiography

By using computerized digital x-rays, we can reduce the radiation to our patients by nearly 90%. Because they’re digital, these x-rays can be enhanced by the computer for improved visualization. The ability to see subtleties using digital radiography is crucial to diagnosis, collaboration, and patient communication.

Dental Vibe

DentalVibe is a unique tool that can help alleviate dental fear and anxiety, allowing you to get the dental treatment you %u2028need to stay healthy. DentalVibe provides gentle vibration to the site of the dental injection. This vibration overloads the nerve that sends pain signals to the brain so that you don’t register the pain or discomfort from the injection. The sound %u2028of the vibration creates an added distraction, and the vibration also helps disperse the anesthesia once it’s injected so %u2028that it can work even faster.

the wand

The Wand is a computer-assisted system for local anesthesia. It carefully guides dental professionals as they are performing dental injections. Patients who experience this technology in our office, will find it offers less pain and more contained numbness for the area that is being treated by using single tooth anesthesia (STA).

The Wand uses patented technology to control the flow rate and pressure of the anesthesia during the injection. Three speeds are tailored for each injection type to ensure optimal comfort and effectiveness.

The Wand also identifies intraligamentary tissue so dentists can find the precise location for injections. As a result, patients receive successful, virtually painless single tooth anesthesia (STA) with no collateral numbness.

TDO Software

Our office uses TDO, the universally acknowledged gold standard in endodontic electronic records. Designed by a leading endodontist, in conjunction with a community of endodontists dedicated to the foundational principle that the patient's care always come first, the software streamlines and simplifies patient registration, referral communication, medical history review, and clinical and imaging documentation. It operates off the Checklist Manifesto common in top hospitals and the airline industry to minimize errors and improve performance and patient outcomes.

Much more than a software, we are part of a community of top clinicians dedicated to mentoring each other, clinical excellence, and self-improvement and continual critical self appraisal so needed for professional improvement and development. As a user of the software, and as a member of the TDO community, our focus is on providing the highest level of care within the endodontic specialty.
